FILTER FOAMS
POLYESTER RANGE
This material is available in a wide range of controlled pore sizes
from 10 - 99 ppi (pores per inch/2.5cm). In the Polyester range it
is used for air filtration in various forms, as speaker grills, and
as applicators for various purposes such as face powder, and is available
in a range of colours.
Polyester cannot be used for water filtration
due to it's toxicity.
The Polyester range can also be supplied thermodensified (felted) to give excellent wicking properties for use as inkpads in mailroom equipment etc.
POLYETHER RANGE
The Polyether range is used mainly for water filtration in aquariums,
ponds and water treatment plants (sewage). It is available in a pore
range of 10 - 45 ppi, it is non-toxic and biological filtration is
achieved by micro-organisms fixed in the foam while in use. The polyether
range can also be used for air filtration.
